A Day in the Life: Shadow a Medical Billing Service

Take the mystery out of medical claims processes by shadowing Nierman Practice Management’s Medical Billers for a day and a half. By observing our billers that specialize in collecting reimbursement for dental sleep medicine, oral appliance therapy, TMD, and oral implants, you will get first-hand experience on how to efficiently process patient claims from start to finish. With the shadowing program you will obtain a real-world understanding of medical billing protocols in a dental office that you can apply right away.

During this unique day and a half program, participants learn how to efficiently maximize medical reimbursement by shadowing sessions with multiple members of Nierman Medical Billing Team to ensure each stage of the medical billing process is covered. Ample time is set aside between each shadowing session to review the session content and answer participants’ questions.

Observe communications with insurers and medical billing protocols for oral appliance therapy, TMD treatments, cone beam radiographs (CT scans), panorex x-rays, oral implants, bone grafts, sinus lifts, oral cancer screenings oral surgeries/extractions and other medically necessary services.
