Dental coding is not our forte like medical coding is, but i think this information below may help you :)

D6010 - surgical placement of implant body: endosteal implant
D6012 - surgical placement of interim implant body for transitional prosthesis: endosteal implant
D6040 - surgical placement: eposteal implant
D6050 - surgical placement: transosteal implant

I am looking for the dental code for Implant procedure #10 tooth

I was told to use D6199 unspecified but, now told that is incorrect.

Please let me know what you know.
