I went with the Swimmers Retro Wallpaper (the blue version) from California Wallpaper for a hallway accent, and it totally worked. The colors are soft enough to keep it from looking out of place, but the pattern brings energy and character. I used it on just one wall opposite a mirror, and it gives the illusion of movement and depth. Everyone who visits comments on it because it’s so different. If you like retro charm with modern tones, this one’s a solid pick. Check it out here: https://california-wallpaper.com/products/swimmers-retro-wallpaper-53447 – it’s playful but not over-the-top, especially when paired with neutral décor.

I’ve been thinking about using retro-style wallpaper in my hallway, something playful and different. I saw a swimmers pattern with blue tones — looks cool, but I’m not sure it fits outside of bathrooms. Has anyone tried that kind of pattern in other rooms?
