So the question is: Are there any code translation from dental to medical procedure terms I can use when calling my HMO?

My wife has CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) and this disease comes with companion conditions that affect other parts of the body like the mouth. The endo/perio is proposing the following on one more teeth to address bone loss and receding gums.

D4249, D2950, D2740 (all teeth) D3330 and D2961 (all)

Our current dental policy has been exhausted for the year. The policies don't really cover much more than cleaning ans a little work each year. However due to the CKD I am going to try and pitch this to out medical insurance to see if they'll cover it under their CKD/ESRD clause in our policy.

Thanks.
