Maciej "Grobbo" Maselewski’s world record run in Diablo seemed too good to be true, Diablo 4 Items and it turned out that it was. The speedrunning community, initially unaware of Grobbo’s manipulations, eventually uncovered the truth through a meticulous investigation that spanned years of research and analysis.

The investigation began when a group of speedrunners sought to replicate Grobbo’s seemingly perfect run. They wanted to test the limits of luck and skill by generating valid Diablo seeds and comparing them to Grobbo’s world record. Their efforts led them to an astonishing discovery—Grobbo’s record-breaking seed didn’t exist. Even more surprising was the fact that Grobbo’s run had been pieced together from multiple different attempts.

Using custom software, the group was able to force the game to create invalid seeds outside the acceptable time range. This allowed them to find seeds that included the same improbable drop of Naj’s Puzzler that Grobbo had claimed to have received. But the truth didn’t stop there. The levels in Grobbo’s run didn’t match any single seed, further confirming that his footage had been manipulated.

The revelation sent shockwaves through the community. What had been considered one of the greatest feats in Diablo speedrunning was nothing more than a well-crafted illusion. Diablo 4 ItemsThe discovery not only exposed Grobbo’s cheating but also raised important questions about the fairness of speedrunning records.
