A. If you are calling for preauth, ask the insurer, “how do you prefer the preauth or predetermination”? You can also check the website for specifics such as to the preauth methods:

1. Claim without date of service
2. Letter with codes?
3. Insurance specific form online or by FAX?

In DentalWriter software, when you access the print button, you can select the preauthorization button and then select to leave the date area blank or print the word preauthorization.
Your DentalWriter wil prepare the diagnostic report. In options, you can set DentalWriter to print the ICD and CPT codes as the default.

By the way, we can answer the questions faster if they are posted on the forum (you can always change your user name for public privacy).
