What is the medical equivalent code for D9223? The dental insurance companies are saying that the previous code, D9220, is no longer active, and it was for 30 minutes. The new anesthesia code, D9223, is only for 15 minutes, but I have not been able to find an equivalent CPT code for it because all the CPT codes are for 30 minutes. Any help on how to cross code this properly would be appreciated.
