Hi guest!

D2740 - crown - porcelain/ceramic substrate
D2950 - core buildup, including any pins when required
D2954 - prefabricated post and core in addition to crown
D2392 - resin-based composite - two surfaces, posterior

The codes listed above do not have a direct crosscode we are aware of, so you can either bill the "D" code on the medical claim (many insurers these days will process "D" codes when they are medically necessary services), or you can try the CPT code below and include a narrative report describing the procedure:
41899 - Unlisted procedure, dentoalveolar structures

Hope this helps!

I need to convert some dental codes over to medical codes so we can bill the patient's medical insurance. The procedures are as follows:

D2740 (porcelain crown)
D2950 (crown build up)
D2954 (prefabricated post and core
D2392 (2 surface resin composite on a posterior tooth)

Thank you for your help.
