99071 (education materials) does seem to fit the description of what you are doing. As you mentioned, it is unlikely that a medical insurer will cover this as medically necessary, but it may be worth to check with your carriers to see if they will.

We are implementing a program called The Power of Calm which is a stress management 14 day program that we are going to sell to patients interested in at home-based breathing therapeutic exercises. The program includes printed materials along with access to online applications.

Would CPT code 99071 apply for this? I’m not sure that it does since this program is a cost to the patient. We are planning to charge $90.00 for this. If 99071 does not apply, is there another code you would recommend using?
