Hi Guest!
No problem we're happy to help.
41899 actaully stands for: Unlisted procedure, dentoalveolar structures
This code is commonly used to represent many different services that do not have their own specific CPT codes assigned (i.e. there is not a CPT/medical code for an extraction of a tooth, but if it is covered under the patient's medical policy, this code could be used to represent the extraction).
So, in order to be able to give you any coding options, I would need more information about what service the outpatient surgery center was using 41899 to represent.

Hi Guest! Yes i do find 41899 referenced in reimbursement policies for facilities, for example here is one from UPHP health plan relating to hospital outpatient: https://www.uphp.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/HP_BP2017001_V1%2041899%20Unlisted%20Dental%20Carries.pdfand another from caresource relating to ambulatory surgical centers: https://www.caresource.com/documents/free-standing-ambulatory-surgical-centers-claims-for-cpt-code-41899/Hope this helps!
