We submitted a claim for dental code D7230 to Harvard Pilgrim using 41899 as the CPT code. Cross Coding does not give a CPT for this dental code. We have used 41899 in the past, however the claim came back stating there is a specific CPT/HCPCS code which corresponds to the service described. Can you help with this coding? Thank you, Dr. Chris Sterling Edited by user Tuesday, December 4, 2012 3:19:27 PM(UTC)

Dr. Sterling: I would suggest that you use the D7230 on the medical claim form. The 41899 is an unspecified code and we have found that many insurance companies are now accepting the "D" code for both the complete and partial bony impactions. Hope this helps.

Advances in knee treatments extend to biomechanics and personalized medicine. The use of biomechanical modeling helps in understanding the complex forces at play in the knee joint, allowing for more accurate diagnoses and customized treatment plans. One of the most exciting developments is the progress in joint-preserving procedures, such as osteochondral autograft transplantation, which involves transferring healthy cartilage from one part of the knee to another. This technique can be particularly effective in young patients with localized cartilage damage BOTOX Injections for Chronic Migraine. Additionally, the incorporation of wearable technology and mobile health applications allows for real-time monitoring of knee function and rehabilitation progress, ensuring that patients adhere to their recovery protocols.
