So a patient comes in for TN pain. It is found that he has asymptomatic bilateral TMJ in addition to right sided TN pain in remission. Can the dentist bill for an office visit?
I have found conflicting information about what "medical conditions" can be billed by a dentist. Can you provide any insight?

Hi Guest!
Yes a dentist can certainly bill an office visit for evaluation of the TMJ's and trigeminal neuralgia. A dental office can bill medical insurance for any conditions they are treating that is within a dentist's scope of practice.
