Hi Guest!
D6010 - surgical placement of implant body: endosteal implant D6011 - second stage implant surgery can be cross coded to: 21248 - Reconstruction of mandible or maxilla, endosteal implant (eg, blade, cylinder); partial(3 or less) 21249 - Reconstruction of mandible or maxilla, endosteal implant (eg, blade, cylinder); complete (4 or more)
D2950 - core buildup, including any pins when required D5214 - Mandibular partial denture - cast metal framework with resin denture bases (including any conventional clasps, rests and teeth) D6057 - custom fabricated abutment - includes placement D6058 - abutment supported porcelain/ceramic crown D6245 - pontic - porcelain/ceramic D6740 - retainer crown - porcelain/ceramic D9944 - occlusal guard – hard appliance, full arch
As for the codes listed above, there are not direct crosscodes we are aware of, so you can either bill the "D" code on the medical claim (many insurers these days will process "D" codes when they are medically necessary services), or you can use the CPT code below and include a narrative report describing the procedure: 41899 - Unlisted procedure, dentoalveolar structures
D0350 - 2D oral/facial photographic image obtained intra-orally or extra-orally D0470 - diagnostic casts can be crosscoded to: 99070 - special supplies & materials
As for D9506, i don't show that as a valid CDT codes. Do you know what service that code is being used to represent?

Thank you so much for responding so quickly . On the paperwork D9506 indicates “wax records”. I assumed this wouldn’t be a billable charge on a medical claim, but included just in case. I truly appreciate your help

Hi Guest!
You're welcome! And gotcha - and yes you're correct, there isn't a direct crosscode from dental to medical for wax records, they would either be built into the cost of the office visit, or billed under a miscellaneous code like 99070
