Hello,
First I'd like to say that it's awesome that you have this forum.
I'm new to CDT codes (really new). Was wondering if there is a different code for gum recession done with collagen grafting. My dentist uses D4275. Also, if all possible is there a crosswalk to either codes to CPT?

Hi Guest!
Thanks for the kind words! We love it too :)
D4275 - non-autogenous connective tissue graft (including recipient site and donor material) first tooth, implant, or edentulous tooth position in graft Can be cross coded to: 41870 - Periodontal mucosal grafting
I'm not aware of a different "D" code when collagen is used, although our forte is medical coding instead of dental coding :)
Hope this helps!
